Abstract

In the process of cold bulk stamping tools are exposed to high stresses. While developing technology and tool design one should provide the longitudinal stability of the workpiece and the high durability of the tool. For this reason it is necessary to determine the loads which occur during process. The paper presents a method for determination of the force for the transverse extruding, which was based on the method of the works balance. Experimental studies have been performed, which showed that the developed method allows with sufficient accuracy to calculate the total load at the die for the transverse extruding.
