Abstract

In this study investigations regarding necessity of preforming steps at hot closed die forging are conducted. Condition for necessity on the base of works done was used. Numerical simulations were carried out in order to confirm analytical calculations. The results show decreasing of tool wear and increasing of tool life by using of abovementioned condition.
