Abstract

Atomic force microscope has been widely used for surface topography measurement in many scientific areas. In metal forming technology atomic force microscope allows analysis of various tribological phenomenon on die and produced part. Surface topography in dental restorative materials is very important since smoother tooth's surface prevents bacterial biofilm retention which is the main cause of dental pathology. This paper presents results of characterization of upset rings in friction coefficient test andresults of characterization of dental materials.
